Maurice White, Ph.D., P.E. heads our Structural Engineering Group. Dr. White earned his Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. During his time at Virginia Tech, Dr. White taught structural classes in wood-framing design and published papers in engineering journals. Our structural group has experience in wood and steel framed structures. No project is too small or too big for us. We have designed beams to replace load-bearing walls in residential structures to having performed design work on commercial structures. Our staff is especially adept at working on historical structures where detailed field documentation is needed as well as an understanding of historic construction techniques.
