Home Owners Associations also known as Common Interest Communities are required by Virginia Law to conduct a Capital Reserve Study and have the Capital Reserve Study updated every five years. The requirements for Reserve Studies can be found in both the 2018 Condominium Act (Section 55-79.83.1) and the 2006 Property Owners Association Act (Section 55-514.1). JTS works with HOAs to comply with these state statutes. Our Reserve Studies meet the Community Association Institute (CAI) Guidelines as well as Virginia’s 2019 Draft Guidelines for Reserve Studies.
