Estimate of Cost

  When embarking on a new capital project, have you wondered if your planned capital construction is in line with your budget.  Let JTS’ Cost Estimators run the numbers during the Design Phase so that the Documents sync with the established budget. Our estimating personnel have previously worked for construction firms and can apply real-world numbers to the documents. JTS currently has a Virginia-statewide contract for providing Independent Cost Estimating Services. This contract can be used by Virginia State Agencies and Municipal Governments. For Commonwealth of Virginia Projects, we have completed the DEB Building Cost Summary Form (DGS-30-224). In order to correctly complete this form, our cost estimates are categorized using the ASTM Uniformat II Classification System. Agencies we have completed independent cost estimates for include the Virginia School of Deaf and Blind and the Virginia Community College System.
